Emmerdale<\/a> tonight saw Ella get released from custody, Wendy accuse Liam and Manpreet of pressuring her and a twist that saw Dawn lie to her father and promise his downfall.<\/p>

Elsewhere, Cain appeared to be emulating his wife\u2019s alcoholic behaviour and taking out his anger on his kids while taking a swig of beer. Thank goodness Chas was there to save the day\u2026<\/p>\n

Emmerdale tonight: Confusion over Ella<\/h2>\n

Mandy, Manpreet and Liam started the episode by discussing (over a coffee and a cake, of course) why Ella acted out with a huge carrot cake. Previous misdeeds aside, the trio couldn\u2019t figure out why Ella acted supposedly out of character.<\/p>\n

Ever the voice of reason, Manpreet emphasised that she probably felt more comfortable in prison than around them due to her previous residencies there. This appeared to give Mandy a wave of understanding.<\/p>
