Let\u2019s talk about the new and improved Cain<\/a> and Charity in Emmerdale. In their almost 25 years on screen they have arguably become two of the most developed characters in Soapland. But do they belong together?<\/p>

During Friday night\u2019s episode (September 6) they came together to support Belle after discovering her abuse at the hands of husband Tom. And there was something in their body language that made us think, finally, after all these years, this could be their time.<\/p>\n

Sure, they\u2019re both married to other people \u2013 and we\u2019ve always shipped Moira and Cain for life, but with Moira\u2019s weird behaviour, have they finally reached the end of the line?<\/p>\n

The history of Cain and Charity in Emmerdale<\/h2>\n

Sit tight, there\u2019s a lot<\/em> of history between these two. So much so you could write a book and several sequels!<\/p>\n

The second cousins had a fling when they were 14 and 13, which resulted in the birth of their daughter, Debbie in October 1989. She was then given up for adoption.<\/p>
