Emmerdale tonight saw things get worse for Matty when he was taken to hospital after a beating. But things weren\u2019t as they seemed when the end of the episode revealed a huge twist about the attack.<\/p>

Matty beaten to a pulp<\/h2>\n

In his prison cell Matty couldn\u2019t sleep and was panicking about Les leaving him all alone. Matty tried to put on a brave face, told Les it was brilliant and he would be all right.<\/p>\n

Robbo continued to torment Matty calling him \u2018Barbie\u2019 and \u2018freak\u2019. Matty then confided in a prison guard who said they\u2019d do everything they could to keep him safe. She offered to remove him to segregation, but he refused, not wanting to be locked up with rapists and paedophiles.<\/p>
