In tonight\u2019s episode of Emmerdale (Monday, September 30), Tom woke up in hospital after being attacked by Belle, leaving her worried that she\u2019s facing a prison sentence for her actions.<\/p>

In Emmerdale last week, Belle feared she\u2019d killed Tom<\/a> after she plunged an axe into his back leaving him laying lifeless on the ground.<\/p>\n

However, it was later revealed that Tom was still alive<\/a>. He is now conscious in hospital, but what does this mean for Belle?<\/p>\n

What happened in Emmerdale?<\/h2>\n

In Monday\u2019s episode of Emmerdale (Monday, September 30), Tom\u2019s uncle Jimmy and girlfriend Amelia were told by the doctor that Tom\u2019s condition had improved and that his pain levels were under control.<\/p>\n

While Amelia and Jimmy made their feelings clear \u2013 that they believed Belle was responsible for Tom\u2019s injuries, Tom claimed to the police that he couldn\u2019t remember what happened.<\/p>
