Global Questions
Is Africa Failing Its Youth?
Almost 60 per cent of Africa's population is under the age of 25, with an average age of 19, making Africa the world's youngest continent. Yet, it is still run by elderly politicians who are often leaders for life. More than 30 per cent of Africa's growing youth population is not employed, not in education, nor receiving any form of training. It is the young who lie at the heart of Africa's untapped potential, yet many believe African governments are failing to create jobs for them or provide them with the skills they need to prepare for the future. Is this a generational failure that threatens the stability of the continent?

Is the Church Racist? - Panorama
Clive Myrie investigates allegations of racism in the Church of England. A year after the archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, admitted that the Church was still 'deeply institutionally racist', Clive meets vicars, curates and theological trainees to understand the scale of the problem. He hears stories of racist abuse and claims of a culture that creates a hostile environment for Christians of colour, who have suffered in silence for fear of further discrimination or losing their jobs
