Funny and smart, too
Boldly goes beyond the Star Trek movie franchise. Great action storyline that keeps surprising right to the very end but tremendous invention too in both the deconstruction of the genre itself and acknowledging the off-camera hostilites between Shatner and the rest of the original TV show cast. Terrific screenplay and oddly moving at times, too.

Never give up, never surrender!
An affectionate parody of Star Trek and it's fans, highly amusing too.
A good ensemble cast and a sharp script makes this film a treat.

I was going to watch this.
But if some moronic lard bucket who has the stupidity to call himself "fitpecs" while lying on his sofa guzzling lager and burgers thinks it's "gud", I think I'll give it a miss. I don’t take the opinion of one who obviously did not bother going to school seriously.
