Well myself and my friends didn't spend our time in the seventies sleeping around believe it or not. We were too busy at it working for our degree. It wasn't watered down in those days and purely academic.

Extra Ordinary People
Recognise so many scenes from my own life. Different people at different times. Different lives though all still loved for the reasons then. I was that girl. They were that guy. Loved and hurt me in the same way. Some never realised or ever heard I loved them. Though I did and in many cases still do, thinking of them all on all the significant dates and on many days in between. This could have been titled Extraordinary Ordinary People. Sso full of soul. The cast excelled. I loved and could have cried at the end. Nearing 70 now with a partner who does not recognise me and my life in this series. Those two young people understood the dynamics and relived it as closely as can be - this is how love that is hidden can really happen.

And not one of them has caught an STD - how likely is that!

Normal people?
Promiscuous, self-absorbed, vacuous. Nothing like anyone I know, thank goodness.

Is it me
After the first episode, which was outstanding, I lost interest. The flashbacks don't help.
