2025 Day Seven
Jeanette Kwakye presents coverage of day seven of the biennial event, held this year at Japan National Stadium in Tokyo. Finals take place today in five disciplines - the men's triple jump from 12.50, the men's and women's 400m hurdles at 1.15 and 1.27 respectively, and the men's and women's 200m at 2.06 and 2.22. There is also plenty of British interest elsewhere, with Katarina Johnson-Thompson getting her defence of the heptathlon title under way in the high jump from 10.20, shot put from 12.30 and 200m from 1.38, and Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson and Georgia Hunter-Bell expected to be in action in the 800m heats from 12.45.
