The documentary focuses on animals that inhabit some of Britain's 6,000 islands, including a rare sheep that can survive on seaweed and red deer stags in the Hebrides. Some lose their lives in the bid to win females, but their death is a bonanza for scavengers - from hooded crows and buzzards to the majestic golden eagle
