The team battles a deadly flesh-eating fungus that takes over any human it comes into contact with, turning the victims into a hideous shell of their former self. However, they face a race against time to destroy the creature before it spreads its lethal spores throughout the whole country, absorbing everyone it encounters and gaining in strength and momentum all the time.
