Ireland's fifth president Cearbhall Ó Dálaigh, who resigned in 1976 following a barrage of insults from Paddy Donegan, and also spent time serving as Chief Justice of Ireland. The Wicklow-born man was a polymath capable of speaking nine languages and he became the country's youngest ever Attorney General in 1945, at the age of 35
