Three young men who love to party ditch their hedonistic lifestyles to spend a week with Carmelite friars in a secluded Oxfordshire priory, where they are thrust into a strict routine of silence, prayer and manual work. Struggling with early starts, no phones and long periods of reflection, tensions rise as Max, Luke and Alan question the faith and discipline, but through charity work with the homeless, moments of honesty and unexpected camaraderie with the brothers, cracks begin to show in their bravado. As the week unfolds, each confronts personal challenges and gains fresh perspective on responsibility, connection, and what really gives life meaning
