1. Debbie takes to the stand
Carl turns up at the flat and immediately cranks up the pressure, urging Debbie to plead guilty and ‘get it over with.’ Bernie isn’t having any of it and quickly steps in, reminding Debbie that Billy’s death was a tragic accident – and that Billy himself would never want her blaming herself.
Ronnie firmly agrees, offering his full support, while Carl struggles to hide his nerves as the tide turns against him. With emotions running high and advice coming from all angles, Debbie is left torn and overwhelmed. Which path will she choose?
2. Will targets Ken
Daniel heads out, ready to drive Ken’s car to work, only to be greeted by a crude spray-painted symbol slapped across the bodywork. Horrified, he quickly realises someone’s crossed a line.
Later, Megan corners Will in the ginnel and absolutely unloads on him, accusing him of vandalising the car and risking everything. Will’s actions may finally be catching up with him… Will anyone work out what he’s hiding though?
3. Jodie makes herself at home
At No.8, Jodie plays the perfect houseguest, surprising Shona with a homemade lunch. She’s truly starting to settle into life with the Platts and shows no signs of going anytime soon.
It’s a kind gesture – but is it heartfelt, or another calculated move?
4. Todd and Summer hope to do Billy justice
Summer pops by the shop flat with a touching photo of Billy and suggests it be displayed at the funeral.
The gesture hits Todd hard, and when he sits down to write Billy’s eulogy, the guilt becomes unbearable. Every word feels heavier than the last. Will Todd crumble under the pressure?
