And, Jodie continues to mind Connie

Elsewhere, Sam continues to accuse Will of being out to get him.
Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on Wed, Apr 8.

1. Debbie steps up to the hot plate
Debbie Webster finds herself under pressure and struggling to keep her cool when Summer pays her an unexpected visit at the hotel. Wasting no time, Summer gets straight to the point and asks the question Debbie’s been dreading – was Carl really the one driving the car on the night Billy died?
Clearly thrown, Debbie panics as the weight of the situation hits her. Just as the conversation becomes too much, Ryan happens to pass by carrying two sizzling hot plates. Seizing the moment as a distraction and a chance to escape the grilling, Debbie quickly grabs them in a bid to make a swift exit.
However, her plan backfires in spectacular fashion. The plates are far too hot to handle, and within seconds Debbie is wincing in pain before dropping them altogether. It’s a chaotic moment that perfectly captures just how rattled she is, with her attempt to dodge the question quite literally blowing up in her face.
2. Sam gets some artificial advice
Elsewhere, Sam is left seriously shaken after spotting Megan and Will together at the precinct. Convinced something isn’t right, he rushes off to share what he’s seen with Nick, Toyah and Leanne, desperate for answers.
Later, at the pub, Eva calls Will over to clear things up once and for all. But Will is adamant, insisting he hasn’t stepped foot outside and has been in the pub the entire morning. His firm denial only adds to the confusion.
Feeling dismissed and unsure what to believe, Sam leaves feeling upset and increasingly frustrated. Back at the salon flat, things take a more worrying turn as he curls up on the sofa, overwhelmed by anxiety and a growing sense of paranoia that he can’t seem to shake.

3. Carla and Lisa celebrate
Away from the drama, there’s finally a reason to celebrate for Lisa, who reveals that her divorce has officially been finalised. Keen to mark the fresh start, Carla whisks her off to the café, leaving Jodie in charge of Connie while they raise a glass to new beginnings.
4. Tim confides in Steve
Meanwhile, over at the pub, Tim opens up to Steve with a dilemma of his own. Even if he does manage to track down Trisha, he admits he hasn’t got a clue what he’d actually say to her.
