Baby Harper isn't doing well
In Coronation Street spoilers for Fri, Jan 16, Shona and David Platt’s baby Harper is in need of a blood transfusion.
Elsewhere, Daniel can’t help but admit that he’s started to fall for Megan.
Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on Fri, Jan 16.

1. Harper takes a turn for the worst
What starts as a tender moment quickly turns terrifying when David and Shona are cooing over baby Harper and an alarm suddenly sounds. Doctors rush in and deliver the frightening news that Harper urgently needs a blood transfusion.
With fear setting in, David and Shona cling tightly to each other, bracing themselves for the worst and praying their daughter will be okay.
2. Debbie’s situation upsets Ronnie
Ronnie’s day takes a painful turn when he walks into the café and overhears Mary and Asha discussing the crash. Hearing Debbie spoken about so casually hits a nerve, and he rushes to defend her, insisting she’s deeply remorseful.
Overwhelmed, Ronnie quickly leaves, struggling to hide how much the situation is affecting him.

3. Megan struggles with her situation
Megan is clearly at the end of her tether when Leanne and Eva stumble across her in Victoria Garden, sobbing uncontrollably. They’re quick to offer comfort, but Megan’s torn over how much of the truth she can reveal.
Later, at the bistro, Daniel thanks her for taking Bertie to school, a small gesture that means more than he realises. He then admits he’s developing real feelings for her, leaving Megan conflicted as her complicated situation threatens to unravel even further.
4. Todd and Summer continue to grieve
Emotions run high as an ambulance arrives at the undertakers carrying Billy’s body. Summer breaks down in tears while Todd does his best to comfort her, weighed down by his own guilt.
Out on the Street, Summer is furious when she spots Debbie laughing with Ronnie, convinced she has no right to be smiling.

5. Leanne plants the seed
Leanne admits to Eva she feels stuck in a rut, prompting Eva to mischievously suggest she sell her share of Speed Daal and buy into Maggie’s stake at the Rovers instead.
