Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on Sun, Jun 7.
1. Kit turns up the heat as Gary plays dumb over Todd’s phone
Kit is on the case and not letting Gary off lightly as he quizzes him about Todd’s missing phone. Gary insists he’s clueless, but Kit isn’t convinced for a second and later tells Lisa he’s sure Gary is hiding something. With Kit determined to get answers, Gary may be running out of places to hide.
2. Summer’s prison crisis leaves Todd floored
Todd gets a worrying call from prison staff telling him Summer has been taken to hospital, and things get even more shocking when she then admits she deliberately switched off her insulin pump because she can’t cope. The news leaves Todd reeling, and when he passes it on at the Rovers, the group are left stunned as guilt and concern hang in the air.
3. Daniel plays detective as he thinks he’s cracked the culprit
Daniel tries to keep things together as a social worker arrives, but the pressure is clearly getting to him. After the visit, he then apologises to Adam and Alya for everything and thanks them for backing him up. But he also drops a bombshell of his own, convinced he knows exactly who’s been stirring trouble with social services.
4. Baby milestone drama puts Shona in meltdown mode
Things go missing at exactly the wrong time for Shona and David, who end up missing Harper’s milestone photo shoot at the hospital. Shona is gutted, and the mood doesn’t improve at home when David then points the finger at Jodie over the missing card, sparking fresh tension.
5. Hope gives Will a reality check over his future
Will admits he’s thinking about quitting athletics because it all reminds him of Megan, but Hope isn’t having it. She tells him straight that walking away would only give Megan more control and also would waste his talent. Meanwhile, Sam watches on in the background, his imagination running overtime as he takes it all in.
