1. Ian prepares for court
Ian makes the most of what could be his last taste of freedom, with friends and family rallying around him.
As the Beales prepare to head to court, Ian’s lawyer arrives with a welcome update that gives everyone a glimmer of hope.
Buoyed by the news and throwing caution to the wind despite his bail conditions, Ian tracks down Chelsea and pleads for her help, but she’s having none of it and tells him to get lost.
2. Ian awaits a verdict
Overwhelmed by guilt, Chelsea finally comes clean to Kim and decides it’s time to put things right. She calls Ian with a last-minute promise to stand by him in court.
But getting there proves easier said than done, as Chelsea and Kim hit unexpected delays on the way.
With the judge ready to deliver the verdict, a nervous Ian can only wait and hope Chelsea arrives before it’s too late.
3. Chelsea gives in to Sheila’s demands
Back in Walford, Chelsea decides to be honest with Jordan about Sheila and agrees to let her spend more time with him, despite the worries of those closest to the family.
4. Prison chaos for Gray
Chelsea tearfully admits to Sheila that she shares some of the blame for Jordan’s accident. But things take an unexpected turn when Sheila later tells Gray, whose surprising reaction leaves her feeling deeply unsettled.
Meanwhile, back on the wing, chaos erupts in the prison, giving Gray a dangerous new idea as he quietly starts putting a plan into motion.
5. George is confronted over his decision
Elsewhere, someone from George’s past challenges his decision not to allow Eddie to be buried alongside Gloria. Meanwhile, Elaine does her best to stand by George as he deals with his troubles with Nicola, but a misunderstanding between them quickly sparks another disagreement.
Phil steps in and attempts to smooth things over between Nicola and George, though Nicola is unwilling to listen. Struggling with his emotions, George later visits Gloria’s grave, weighed down by guilt.
Concerned about him, Nicola turns to Harry for help and the pair take George to Harry’s Barn. As Nicola gently tries to understand where George’s guilt is coming from, she opens up about her own past, leading to a heartfelt moment between them.
6. Sharon wants answers from Phil
Over at The Vic, Kat and Sharon enjoy a catch-up while spotting Linda having lunch with Clive. As Linda gets everyone behind her plans for the community centre, the women can’t resist teasing her about her new companion. Later, Linda agrees to go on another date with him.
Elaine and Sharon watch as the pair continue to flirt, but a throwaway comment from Elaine soon catches Sharon completely off guard. Unable to shake what she’s heard, Sharon turns to Phil and demands answers.
7. Eve and Suki face Nicola
Still reeling from events, Nicola later runs into Suki and Eve, with emotions quickly boiling over between them.
Later, Eve and Jean find George drunk on a bench. Refusing to leave him alone, Eve stays by his side, and the pair begin to open up about what they’re both going through.
