As Bear leaves Emmerdale, here’s when he’ll return as big storyline is set to continue

The mystery goes on...

Emmerdale aired an exit for Bear Wolf during Tuesday’s hour long episode, but with Bear hiding a big secret, his departure won’t be a permanent one.

Bear has been acting out of character recently and has lashed out at his son on numerous occasions. Suspecting his dad might be suffering from a medical condition, Paddy Kirk tried to get him to see a doctor. When Bear refused, Paddy took it upon himself to test Bear for dementia following online instructions.

When Bear discovered what Paddy was doing, he hit out at his son and pushed him against a wall. Their relationship intensified further during Monday’s episode, when Paddy was attacked by a dog. Though Bear was initially helpful and supportive, he suddenly switched and starting shouting at Paddy for being a walkover.

Paddy has now reached the end of his tether with Bear and ordered him out, but when will he be back?

Bear left Emmerdale

Paddy was aghast to discover Celia is denying the dog that bit him belongs to her. Celia claimed the dog was a stray, though Paddy insisted to the police that she was lying.

He was soon faced with further drama when Bear arrived back and pretended like nothing had happened. He later apologised to Paddy for all the things he’d said the day before – but he reiterated that standing up for yourself is an important trait.

Paddy then armed himself with a veterinary blot gun and headed to Celia’s farm. But his confidence didn’t lost long and Celia quickly managed to intimidate him. She told him she’d already shot the stray dog for him, though he didn’t believe her.

As she roared at Paddy, causing him to stumble back, she warned him to forget he ever saw a dog and to get off her land. Paddy immediately went home and confronted Bear, telling him he should never have listened to him. Paddy then ordered his dad to get out of the house.

Outside, Bear called his mate Gnasher and asked if he could come and stay. But Bear’s face fell as Gnasher shared he wasn’t up for visitors. However, Bear then told Paddy and Mandy that Gnasher said the sofa was his for as long as he wanted.

Bear then left the village, but where is he going if not to Gnasher’s?

Bear will be back

Back in May, Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw teased some upcoming storylines. One of which involves Bear. She said: “He’s going off screen for a little while. He’ll go missing and when he comes back what you’ll see is a very different Bear in a very different situation.”

Laura added: “We’re all going to be watching going: ‘what the hell has happened here?'”

While we know that Bear will definitely be back, we’re none the wiser over what is wrong with him, though fans have had plenty of theories.
