As Nish 'returns' to haunt hallucinating Ravi, events take a violent turn tomorrow
Somehow, Nish returned
Evil Nish Panesar ‘returned’ from beyond the grave to torment Ravi Gulati in EastEnders tonight (Wednesday, January 7) as Harry and Nicola took their revenge on the local drug dealer. Giving Ravi (quite literally) a taste of his own medicine, Nicola spiked his drink – leaving him at Harry’s mercy as he stumbled onto the street outside.
Harry hustled Ravi back to The Arches, where the drugs really began to kick in.
Here’s what happened in EastEnders tonight… and what happens next.

Nish ‘returned’ as Nicola and Harry targeted Ravi in EastEnders tonight
It was the big day, and Harry was keen to get his revenge on Ravi. After a (literal) run-in on the street, he was out for blood, and not even a calm word from Billy could dissuade him from his revenge.
Later, he met with mum Nicola, who informed him that she’d taken delivery of a particularly potent cocktail of drugs.
Left out in the cold while Priya and the kids attended Suki and Eve’s latest adoption assessment meeting, Ravi swung by Harry’s Barn for a drink. Joining a grieving Patrick, Ravi was oblivious as Nicola struck, pouring him a drink loaded with drugs.
Ravi staggered outside, where Harry intercepted. He escorted him over to The Arches, when he promptly dumped him in the pit, and began to torment his rival. “It’s time you knew what hell feels like,” Harry threatened… just as Billy arrived to check up on him.
Steering Billy away, Harry left Ravi where he was…. suffering horrific hallucinations in the pit of The Arches. Meanwhile, growing suspicious at Ravi’s absence, Priya and the family launched a search party.
Back in The Arches, Ravi’s hallucinations intensified. “There is no help here, son,” the voice of Nish intoned as a terrified Ravi devolved into screaming fits.

Disaster strikes
As the soap continues tomorrow (Thursday, January 8), Ravi manages to climb out of the pit and escape The Arches. Meanwhile, as Priya, Vinny and Nugget launch a search party, an increasingly terrified Ravi lashes out – leading to terrible consequences for one family member.
What has Ravi done?

Having seemingly insisted that Trafalgar Square be closed to the public for their slow dance in the previous series, newlyweds Nikki (Emilia Fox) and Jack (David Caves) have fled to Birmingham in a car presumably clanking with scalpels, rib shears and bone saws.Apart from that change of location, it’s pretty much grisly business as usual, though Jack, having grown a Van Dyke beard while on route, is now looking like Dr Strange in a protective overall. And luckily for us, they’ve taken Harriet (Maggie Steed) and Kit (Francesca Mills) along for the ride. What this means for the Lyell Centre in London is left unanswered. Maybe it’s listed on Rightmove? (The built-in fridge is to die for.)When we rejoin them, there’s no time to argue over lab space in their new base, as there’s a professional assassin to hunt for, one with the surname Booth. If it turns out in tomorrow’s episode that he has accomplices called Oswald and Hinckley, I’m writing to Points of View.
Part two of two. Nikki and Jack are called to the sergeant's body and consider the apparent suicide as DI Ferris arrives - but not in an official capacity. Jason tries to reconcile with Alice's family, but to no avail, prompting him to ask Nikki if she is open to talk. Giving her growing suspicion, will she agree to meet him? Crime drama, starring Emilia Fox, David Caves and Dino Fetscher

I’m not used to having my operational decisions questioned by pathologists,” states a snitty DCI Jilly Bashir following the team’s latest investigative overreach. To which any Silent Witness fan will reply: get used to it. Because Nikki isn’t likely to stop making connections that the police are too dopey to clock, and Jack is still going to be heading off by himself to locations where crimes have yet to be committed to shine his torch in darkened rooms. The difference being that the two of them now make eyes at each other over sterilised work surfaces and kiss at crime scenes. “I feel like a single Pringle,” observes Kit. But, at this rate, viewers will soon want to join her in that tub.
