EastEnders fans have begun to theorise that Vincent Hubbard could be Okie Okyere’s father, as the drug dealer shared an insight into his tragic past. Okie joined Gina on a date last night (Thursday, October 16), with her boyfriend still chained up in Kojo’s flat.
Frustrated by the surface-level conversation, Gina pushed Okie to open up about his own past. In doing so, Okie revealed another layer to his personality, explaining how his father had been murdered when he was a child, leaving him and his siblings alone with their mother – who wasn’t coping well.

As Okie opened up, he said: “I didn’t really know my pops until I was nine.
“Mum said he was never any good, but when I did meet him, that guy demanded respect, you know?”
“He showed me off to everyone. Spoiled me as well – bought me trainers, clothes, you know. Treated me like a king.”
However, tragedy struck when he was stabbed when Okie was 14. “Word on road is he got stabbed with his own knife in some petty scuffle.
“After that, mum just… she just snapped. Gone missing for days on end. Left me and my brother to take care of our little sister, Dejia, by ourselves.”
He added: “No love. No help.”

Okie is Vincent Hubbard’s son, fans predict
As Okie revealed his story, fans began connecting the dots to theorise that Okie might be the son of local shady type Vincent.
“Farfetched, but I think okie is Vincent’s son,” wrote one fan on X.
“Is okie Vincent son or whoever the drug lord is?” asked another.
“That would make sense and make for an interesting return as well,” a third suggested.
“Who knows, maybe Vincent faked his death, went on the run and started the drugs business, recruiting his son, and a known figure in the drug business (Ravi) to eventually take the fall if things go south,” another detailed on Reddit.
Fans have already predicted that Vincent could be the mysterious figure running Ravi and Okie’s drugs operation – but could he also be Okie’s dad?
