Teddy confessed to killing Okie in EastEnders tonight

At the station, Teddy told officers his version of what had happened. He claimed that he’d gone around the flat to find Okie there, alone, with a knife.

A fight had broken out, Teddy said, and he killed Okie in self-defence.

Back home, Nicola backed up Teddy’s lie, telling Barney that Teddy had killed Okie protecting Harry. As the family got involved, Billy alerted Phil to what had happened. Phil, naturally, gave Ritchie a bell.

George and Junior clashed as Kojo’s future looks uncertain

Meanwhile, across the Square, George broke the news to Koko that Okie had been killed. As Kojo blamed himself for sending Teddy to the flat in the first place, George snapped at Junior for interfering, telling him that he should seriously consider taking the job in Dubai.

Tensions came to a head when Junior and George arrived to find Nicola at Phil’s place, discussing the Teddy situation. As Junior raged at Nicola for not protecting Kojo, George stepped in, demanding that his son back off.

Later, George tried to make amends with Junior at the gym. Junior threw it back in his face though, accusing him of still having feelings for Nicola. Once alone, George opened a message from Kobina – Kojo would have to return to Ghana.

Who is Jill Halfpenny's character DS Sam Bradley in After the Flood series 2?

Sam Bradley is the new DS who arrives at Waterside police station just in time to team up with newly promoted detective Jo Marshall on a new case.

She tells her new colleague she's recently transferred to Waterside from Newcastle. Sam explained that she's looking for a fresh challenge and a new focus after finding herself single and home alone now that both of her kids are at university.

Talking about the new character in After the Flood series 2, ITV tells us: "A highly-qualified and experienced murder detective, Sam's excellent at her job and immediately takes a liking to Jo, seeing something of herself in her. Perceptive and good with people, Sam also has a firm streak and believes the rules are there for a reason; it's a trait that might just see her butting heads with Jo and her instincts for breaking the rules."
