Celebrity Traitors fans fume after spotting huge 'spoiler' for who Richard E Grant and Maya Jama murder
Has the cliffhanger been given away already?Celebrity Traitors fans are fuming after spotting what they believe is a huge ‘spoiler’ to the outcome of last night’s cliffhanger.
Richard E Grant and Maya Jama made the decision at the end of the show to murder either Amol Rajan or James Acaster.
Whoever survives will be welcomed into their Traitor fold as the third recruit.
The other will exit the BBC game after just one day.
Viewers didn’t get to see who Richard and Maya picked. All they heard was the sound of a coffin door slamming shut.
But while the majority of the nation waits to find out James and Amol’s fate, some viewers are convinced they already know who was murdered.

Eagle-eyed armchair sleuths are certain the outcome of tonight’s cliffhanger has already been given away. And they are furious.
Earlier this week, The Sun on Sunday published a story about James. An insider claimed The Celebrity Traitors had to be halted after the actor became “panicked” and “anxious” during filming.
The report stated: “As well as the arduous physical challenges, contestants also have to deal with the psychological strain of the Round Table.”
An insider then added: “The show is incredibly intense and during one particular scene at the castle, James became very anxious and panicked.
“Some of the other celebrities on the show spoke up and said cameras should stop rolling so he could calm down, and production were in agreement as well.”
In response, a Celebrity Traitors spokesperson also said: “The Traitors is a unique and immersive game, and we recognise that taking part can be intense at times.
“Our highest priority is always the safety and welfare of everyone taking part. Players are closely monitored and supported throughout by production, which includes a dedicated and experienced welfare team.”
But James and Amol have been in Ardross Castle for just over 24 hours. They are yet to even take part in a Round Table.
Celebrity Traitors fans fume over ‘clue’
Avid Traitors fans are convinced the story accidentally gives away that James was recruited as a Traitor. This would mean Amol was murdered by Maya and Richard.
Fans have shared their fury in a Traitors fan group on Facebook. One said: “So James is defo a Traitor based on the report that came out earlier this week saying they had to stop filming near the end of the season cos James had an issue. It sucks that report came out.”
Another added: “Yes, I agree. That report was such a spoiler and shouldn’t have been allowed until episode 2 goes out.”
When contacted by TVGuide, a Celebrity Traitors spokesperson declined to comment.
