Tonight, Ronnie Bailey pulled out all the stops trying to convince Debbie not to plead guilty over the crash that killed Billy. Bernie even popped by the flat before Debbie headed to court, reminding her it was a tragic accident and that she didn’t deserve to waste any more of her precious life behind bars.
But Carl Webster had other ideas, urging Debbie to plead guilty, insisting she’d probably get a suspended sentence and avoid prison. Shockingly, Debbie took to the stand and did exactly that, leaving her family reeling.
Later, Adam warned Debbie the case was leaning towards her being considered of sound mind at the time of the crash. Ronnie begged him to find medical evidence proving her dementia meant she didn’t fully understand her actions – but a prison sentence was still a real possibility.

Hearing Debbie’s name thrown around so lightly hits him hard, and he immediately rushes to defend her, insisting she’s truly remorseful. But the stress is overwhelming, and Ronnie quickly leaves, struggling to keep his emotions in check.
