Here’s who plays who in the guest cast of Death Valley series 2 episode 6 on BBC One.

Death Valley series 2 episode 6 cast: Charles Dale is Terry Daniels
Welsh actor Charles Dale, 63, guest stars as Terry Daniels in the cast of Death Valley this week. He’s been on our screens for more than four decades, and is probably best known for his roles in Casualty and Coronation Street.
He is perhaps most famous for playing MacKenzie “Big Mac” Chalker in Casualty from 2007 to 2016. Big Mac was a popular character in the BBC medical drama who worked in the ED as a porter and, later, an Emergency Care Assistant. He popped up in 2021 too, in the special flashback episode Begin Again.
Coronation Street fans will know the actor playing Dennis Stringer between 2000 and 2002. Dennis was known for his romances with Eileen Grimshaw and Janice Battersby before he met a tragic end.
Charles first appeared on screen in 1979 and, since then, he’s portrayed nurses, policemen, Lords and sailors! Fans of the 1997 John Simm drama The Lakes will recognise Charles as Chef. He’s also known for playing McGuire in At Home with the Braithwaites, and Clive Eustace in Paradise Heights, and The Eustace Bros.

Who did Charles Dale play in Corrie and what happened to the character?
Charles Dale’s soap character Dennis Stringer was a former Hell’s Angel who had a relationship with Eileen Grimshaw. He worked with Les Battersby on community service for non-payment of parking fines, and subsequently moved in with the Battersbys – which caused a world of pain.
In 2001, Dennis and Janice Battersby fell in love with each other and both left their respective partners to live together. A devastated Les attempted suicide by gassing himself in his car. Luckily, Dennis prevented the suicide, but died in a head-on collision with another car while driving Les to Weatherfield General. Les survived.
