Did Danny really tell Gia she's his type in MAFS Australia? Brit groom places £50k on lie detector test
Danny is adamant he is telling the truthMAFS Australia‘s Danny Hewitt is so adamant he didn’t tell Gia Fleur she’s his type that he has bet £50,000 on a lie detector test.
Danny has been at the centre of drama with Gia and his wife Bec Zacharia after last week’s wild dinner party.
Bec is devastated at the thought Danny may have told Gia he prefers her – a claim made by Brook Crompton.

Last night, Bec was left in tears while discussing the allegation at the latest commitment ceremony.
But Danny is so desperate to prove his innocence that he has begged producers to let him take a lie detector test.
And he is so certain of the result that he’s bet $100,000(AUD) that he is telling the truth.
Did MAFS Australia’s Danny tell Gia she’s his type?
The claim against Danny came at last week’s dinner party. The night descended into chaos when Brook turned up late and took aim at Alissa and Stella.
When Danny attempted to stand up for the girls, Brook announced she was about to drop a “bombshell” that would upset his marriage to Bec. Gia then shouted out that Danny had told her she was “more his type” during a night out.

Danny and Bec have been at loggerheads ever since. Bec cannot seem to get past it, despite Danny insisting Brook and Gia have lied.
In a desperate attempt to prove his innocence, Danny has now asked producers if he can take a lie detector test on the show. And he’s betting cash on the result.

Speaking to Australian radio station Star 104.5, Danny said: “Obviously it’s not [true]. You’ve got to just watch my audition tape. When I talk about my type, I describe the complete opposite of Gia.
“It’s crazy how big it’s become, but yeah it was never said.”
Danny continued: “No-one heard it. No-one even [saw] me speak to her [Gia] one-on-one.
“I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it – I’m happy to put 100 grand on the line and do a lie detector test. If that’s not proof, then I don’t know what is. I guarantee Gia wouldn’t do the same thing.”
What did Danny say in his MAFS Australia audition tape?
Unaired footage of Danny’s audition tape does appear to back up his theory. He rules out a girl like Gia as ‘his type’ because she has multiple tattoos all over her body.
Expert John Aiken asks him in the audition: “Your ideal partner would be, what? What sort of look? What sort of personality traits would you be drawn to, then?”

Danny replies: “Just someone who’s real. Someone who’s got good energy, a good soul, and a personality.
“I sort of do like more of a natural girl. I know it’ll surprise you, because I’m covered in tattoos, but I actually like cleanskin girls.”
Is this enough to get him off the hook? Or is a lie detector the only thing for it?!
