The Dingles versus the Tates heats up as Moira sells the farm, all the questions over what happens next
The Tates have won this roundEmmerdale delivered a shock bombshell tonight when Moira Dingle sold the farm to Kim Tate – something we thought would never happen.
But following Cain’s cancer diagnosis, her own incarceration and Joe Tate’s blackmail, Moira caved in. However she did not tell Cain, smug Joe Tate did.
So what happens next? How will Cain react? Who will take over the farm? And what does the future hold for the Dingles?

Moira sold the farm in Emmerdale tonight
Kim made her feelings to Joe perfectly clear about him not having left the Dingles alone despite her ordering him to do so. Joe claimed to be the victim after Cain attacked him, but Kim wasn’t interested.
Trying to soothe his own ego Joe ordered Lydia to pop open the Champagne – but she then told him to stuff his Champagne and Kim laughed!
Kim didn’t reveal where she was off to and secretly went to visit Moira in prison. Moira told her she was sick of all the messing around: “Let’s stop playing games and let the grown-ups sort this out instead,” she said
She then offered to sell Kim her share of the farm. Kim was very suprised she was ready to let go and questioned why Moira had stopped fighting. With Moira staying quiet, Kim refused the offer unless she could be honest. So Moira confessed Cain has cancer.
Moira was tearful as she admitted how hard this was and revealed she hadn’t discussed this with her husband. Kim was sympathetic telling her she respected the fact she was putting her family first. They had a deal.
Kim also promsied Moira would always have access to Holly’s grave.
Later at home, Joe was smugly celebrating and Kim brought him down a peg or two revealing Cain’s cancer diagnosis. Joe worked out that was why Graham had backed Cain instead of him. But he still wanted to celebrate, leaving a very crass taste in everyone’s mouth.
So what happens to the farm now?
We certainly weren’t expecting Moira to ever back down. And now we have some questions…

1. Who will take over the farm in Emmerdale?
Robert Sugden was promised the tenant farmer role by Joe when he sold his own share of the farm to the Tates. But will Robert accept it?
Or will Kim overrule Joe and offer the tenancy to Moira and Cain? And will they even accept?

2. What will Cain say?
This is a big one. At the end of tonight’s episode, Cain told Joe the farm would never be for sale. He also told Aaron they would let the Tates take the farm over his dead body.
So how will he take the news? Will he realise this is the best option all round? Or will he go bananas Cain-style and cause a fuss? Can he stop the deal going through?
Next week he is looking for farmland. But why?

3. Where will they family go?
The farm is also Cain and Moira’s home. So where will they move to if they are forced to leave?
Wishing Well Cottage where the Dingles reside is pretty full, but there’s always room for more at Dingle Palace. Or will Chas open up the pub to them? Cain behind the bar in the Woolpack – we can definitely see it!
4. Can Robert and Aaron get married now?
If Robert takes over the tenancy it’ll pit Aaron against his family once more. Will the Dingles be understanding of his reasons? Or is Aaron about to lose everything to back Robert?
And, when the family find out that not only has Robert got control of Moira’s farm, but also framed her in the first place, isn’t all hell going to break loose?
