EastEnders fans celebrate 'real treat' as Nish returns to torment Ravi
Nish is back!
Nasty Nish Panesar made his return to EastEnders last night (Thursday, January 8), as Ravi Gulati suffered horrific drugged-up visions of his dead dad. This came as Ravi found himself at the mercy of a series of hallucinations, after being spiked by Harry and Nicola.
Held captive in The Arches, Ravi was horrified as Nish appeared, and continued to mock his son from beyond the grave. With Harry otherwise occupied, Nish was left all alone in the garage – and escaped onto the streets outside, where his torment continued.
Unable to escape visions of Nish, Ravi lashed out, with terrible consequences for Nugget. Disturbing scenes… but many couldn’t get past the return of iconic villain Nish.

EastEnders fans celebrate return of Nish
As last night’s scenes aired, viewers took to social media to celebrate the villain’s unexpected comeback. Dead or not, many couldn’t get enough.
“Nish is one of the best villains, hope Ravi has more hallucinations of him,” wrote one fan on X.
“Seeing Nish reminded me how good we had it before. Despicable character but you love to hate him,” said another.
A third commented: “Ngl seeing Nish tonight felt like a real treat.”
“Awww I’ve missed Nish! Such a great villain,” said a fourth.

Ravi questioned by the police next week
As the soap continues next week, Ravi comes back to his senses after the night before. Waking up in the street with no memory of anything that has happened, he stumbles home, where he finds his phone full of panicked messages from Priya.
After realising what he’s done, Ravi comes clean, to Priya’s horror. He’s perturbed when the police want to speak to her about Nugget’s attack. Will she reveal the truth about her son’s assault?
And, the next day, after speaking to Priya, the police demand an audience with Ravi also.
What consequences will he face for his attack on Nugget?
