Max clashes with Jasmine over Oscar's future, while traumatised Nugget suffers a panic attack

Max Branning is at war with Jasmine Fisher over son Oscar’s future in EastEnders spoilers for Tue, Jan 20, as he learns of their plan to leave Walford together. Disapproving of Jasmine’s scheme, he gets involved, causing Jasmine to retaliate with a shocking claim.
How will Max react?
Meanwhile, Nugget suffers a panic attack after going outside for the first time since his attack. And, after Ricky Jr. realises that there’s something going on with his mum, Sam decides to be honest about her cancer diagnosis.

1. Max is at war with Jasmine in EastEnders spoilers
Jasmine remains adamant that they need to leave Walford, but Oscar isn’t so sure. Later, Max tries to talk him out of going.
Meanwhile, after Jasmine lies to Kat about her statement to the police, Max confronts her over her plan to leave Walford. Overhearing the exchange, Cindy warns Max that Jasmine is dangerous.
Later on, when Max and Jasmine take their argument to Oscar, he’s conflicted. However, Jasmine soon ups the ante with a shocking revelation.

2. Nugget struggles with his recovery in EastEnders spoilers
As Ravi continues to try and push his son to return to normality after the attack, Nugget agrees to go outside again. However, he soon grows overwhelmed and suffers a panic attack.

3. Sam opens up to Ricky Jr.
At Raymond’s request, Ricky arranges a surprise birthday party for Phil. However, the mood is soon ruined when he realises that Sam is planning on leaving again.
Later, George finds Sam with a letter about her upcoming lumpectomy appointment, and urges her to tell the truth to Ricky. On George’s advice, she shares her diagnosis with Ricky, who promises to support her.
4. Elaine turns the tables in EastEnders spoilers
Ian seems to be making headway in his quest to get Elaine’s sign removed. However, when Elaine gets some news about Councillor Barker from Honey, she uses this as leverage to strike a deal.
