As emotions run high in court, Joel's case takes an interesting turn
It all kicks off in court...
Joel’s courtcase continues in EastEnders spoilers for Thu, Jan 29, but when he makes a surprise visiting request, everything changes.
Avani takes to the stand to give evidence. But Priya isn’t happy when Ravi lets their daughter down when she needs him the most.
Also, Honey and Bea face thieves in the Minute Mart, and Elaine makes a huge decision about her future.

1. Joel’s court case takes an interesting turn
As the court resumes, emotions are running high for Vicki and Avani as they face Joel once again.
Ross is surprised when he gets a request from Joel to visit him. He refuses to go and see his son after what happened with Vicki.
Instead, Joel asks to see another Walford resident. The visit doesn’t go to plan for Joel, though, and when the court resumes the trial takes an interesting turn.
2. EastEnders spoilers: Ravi lets Avani down
Ravi promises Avani that he’ll be there to support her in court, but gets sidetracked by an urgent task in his informant role.
Priya lets Ravi know how angry she is that he failed to show up for their daughter when she needed him.
Having already let Nugget down earlier this year, Ravi is once again consumed with self-loathing.
3. Thieves target the Minute Mart
Honey is horrified to arrive at the Minute Mart to find two teenage girls trashing the place.
Bea stumbles upon the scene and helps Honey get rid of them and tidy up, leaving Vinny impressed by her hard work and diligence.
Can Bea use this to her advantage?
4. EastEnders spoilers: Elaine makes a big decision
Meanwhile, Elaine decides to play Ian at his own game and run for Councillor Barker’s seat too.
