With Mark Junior back in Walford, Phil's plans for Nigel are exposed... and Julie's not happy

Mark Junior is back in Walford in EastEnders spoilers for Mon, Jan 26, as the family try to make sense of his sudden return. He claims he’s there to support half-sister Vicki during Joel’s trial, but it soon becomes clear that he has an ulterior motive.
And, after trying to get help from Phil, he manipulates the situation by exposing his Portugal plan to Julie. How will she react when she learns Phil was planning on taking Nigel away?
Elsewhere, Max tries to force Jasmine’s hand, Elaine’s red-faced after a meeting with George, and Ravi tries to support his son.

1. Mark Junior’s back in EastEnders spoilers
Now back in Walford, Mark Jr. has a lot of explaining to do. When Vicki, Phil and Sam demand to know what he’s doing back in town, Mark lies, and says that he’s there to support her during Joel’s trial.
However, once alone with his uncle, Mark reveals the true reason for his return – and asks Phil for help. However, Phil refuses, as he’s leaving for Portugal with Nigel that very evening.

2. Phil’s plans for Nigel are exposed
Later, when Julie arrives home early from her trip to Scotland, Mark spots an opportunity. He tells her about Phil’s Portugal plan, leaving Julie shocked.
How will she react to the news that Phil was planning on taking her husband out of the country?
3. Max plots Jasmine’s downfall in EastEnders spoilers
Following the events of last week, Jasmine remains desperate to get out of town. Meanwhile, Max learns that she’s been lying about her statement to the police.
He uses this knowledge to force her to stay away from Oscar. Will she heed his warning?
4. George humiliates Elaine
George plans on breaking the news about Nicola’s pregnancy to Elaine, so asks her to meet him for a drink. However, when she speaks to Bea, she gets the wrong idea and assumes that George might want to get back together.
At The Vic, George puts Elaine straight. In her embarrassment, she takes it out on Ian, causing him to retaliate terribly.
5. Nugget makes progress in EastEnders spoilers
In the wake of last week’s panic attack, Ravi is keen to help Nugget regain his confidence. He gives him and Denzel money for a day out.
