Ravi's out for blood
Joel Harley

Ravi Gulati came after Harry and Nicola Mitchell for revenge in EastEnders tonight (Tuesday, January 13), after working out that they had been behind his out-of-control state last week. Realising that he’d been spiked, Ravi took action the Ravi way… kicking their door down and confronting the pair with a baseball bat.

But how far will Ravi go to avenge himself and his son?

Here’s what happened in EastEnders tonight.

EastEnders tonight: Ravi’s out for revenge against Harry and Nicola after working out the truth

With Nugget still in hospital, the police demanded answers over the attack. They were convinced that it was no mere mugging, and that the person responsible could have been connected to Ravi’s past.

Still, Priya and the family denied any knowledge of what had happened. Afterwards, she told Ravi that she’d kept her silence so as to protect Nugget. He needed to focus on his son, she demanded – and Nugget could never find out what he’d done.

Meanwhile, Harry panicked fearing that Ravi might be onto him. Fearing for what the wrath of Ravi could incur, Nicola plotted to flee Walford with her sons.

Later, Ravi met with Jack, who continued to pressure him to meet with the mysterious ‘Delaney.’ However, he was far more interested in working out what had happened to him, and, after seeing Harry in a state in The Vic, began to realise that he’d been spiked.

Returning home, he grabbed a baseball bat from his things and locked Priya in the flat. He then stormed across to the Mitchells’, where he confronted those responsible for his torment.

Nugget and Ravi continue to struggle in spoilers for next week

While EastEnders spoilers for tomorrow don’t reveal whether Ravi goes through with his attack on Nicola and Harry, next week’s storylines have already been released.

As Nugget returns home from the hospital, Priya demands that he move into Ravi’s flat. However, Ravi struggles with his son, and snaps when Nugget asks why he didn’t visit him in hospital.

The next day, in an attempt to appease Ravi, Nugget attempts to go outside. He soon becomes overwhelmed, suffering a panic attack in front of his family.

Meanwhile, Ravi too struggles under the weight of his own guilt.

Can the family move on from what’s happened?

Episode 1 Overview

When a woman is brutally murdered in the night, maverick Detective Pamela Green is convinced only a man could have been responsible for the murder. Her theory is discredited among her peers: in a world where men are under curfew at night and their every move tracked by an ankle tag, it's not possible.

Pamela, reluctantly partnered with eager rookie DC Eddie Wilson, sets about finding what happened to the victim. We reveal our suspect, and Pamela wants to know why she's lying.

In the past, we meet Sarah and her daughter Cass. After Cass is kicked out of class, Sarah takes her to the Women's Safety Centre, where Sarah works as a tagger. In the reception, a frustrated man, Paul, starts to make a scene. Sarah tasers him and amid the commotion, Cass slips away with a stolen tagger key.

Curfew is a 2024 Paramount+ thriller series where a dystopian UK forces all men under a 7 PM to 7 AM lockdown, tracked by 24/7 ankle tags under the "Women’s Safety Act". The plot, based on Jane Cowie’s book *After Dark*, follows DI Pamela Green (Sarah Parish) investigating a murder that suggests the curfew is not infallible.

Key Details on the Curfew System and Men:

  • Restriction: All men must be in their homes from 7 PM to 7 AM, enforced by electronic ankle tags.
  • Premise: The law was implemented to ensure women's safety, yet the show challenges this with a murder during the prohibited hours.
  • Characters: The series features various male characters navigating this reality, including rookie cop Eddie (Mitchell Robertson).
  • Context: It is a 6-part British thriller exploring themes of gender, safety, and surveillance.
