Elaine collapsed as guilty Linda revealed her plans! But what's next for the warring mum and daughter?
Will Elaine pull through?Elaine suffered a shocking heart attack in Monday’s EastEnders (June 30) devastating daughter Linda and grandson Johnny. With the Carters in chaos, it looked like things were falling apart.
Things started to go wrong when a worried Linda told her mum that she wanted to sell The Queen Vic. Tensions were already running high when the police showed up to speak to the women about the underage drinking incident.
Fortunately, the cops told Linda and Elaine that they weren’t taking things further, but it was a reminder that things weren’t going well.
EastEnders tonight: Problems for Linda and Elaine
Worried about her miserable mum, Linda ended up sharing her woes with George, who urged her to see things from Elaine’s point of view. But before Linda could make things right, Elaine jumped to the conclusion that her daughter was plotting with her ex behind her back.
She marched off to the bank, determined to get the money she needed to buy Linda out of the pub.
But there was more trouble in store when the bank turned her down. Deflated and desperate, Elaine tried to manipulate Johnny into becoming her silent partner, but he turned her down too.
Emotional, Elaine flipped. She threw everyone out of the pub and she had a fierce row with Linda, as the pair exchanged some pretty nasty words.
Then things took a turn as Elaine collapsed!
A guilty Linda and Johnny ran to her side, thinking she was having a panic attack. Elaine convinced them she was feeling better. Relieved, Linda told her son she wouldn’t sell – she’d keep the pub after all. Johnny encouraged her to do what was best for herself.
But back in the bar, Elaine had collapsed again!
Johnny called an ambulance, and when Callum arrived to check on Elaine, he took charge.
It seems the tough times aren’t over for the Carter/Peacock/Knight family after all.

I'm A Celebrity latest – who left tonight?
Tonight's show saw xxx leave the camp. They followed Alex Scott over the rope bridge after she became the first campmate eliminated on Friday night.
Viewers and campmates alike were gutted at the news.
"xxx," said one viewer. Another declared: "xxxxx." A third commented: "xxxxx." Another also added: "xxxxx."
Letters from home
Elsewhere on tonight's show, campmates were given the chance to win their letters from home.
All the campmates took part in a challenge to win each other’s letters from home titled Blender Defenders.
However, they only managed to win 10 out of 11 letters from home, with Jack Osbourne being the only star not to receive his. As a result, viewers were heartbroken for him.
Jack was recently slammed by viewers over his behaviour towards Ruby Wax, who is now the new camp leader. He was branded "disrespectful" over his behaviour in The Cave trial earlier this week.
