As Aaron defends Robert, Emmerdale spoilers show the Robron reunion is days away
Robert and Aaron are about to reuniteEmmerdale fans stay calm – the time has come for Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle to finally accept there is still something between them. Robert may have only returned recently – but we have all been waiting nearly six years for this moment.
Tonight’s visit to the Dales showed Aaron defend Robert – to John. Robert had been babysitting Harry when John got jealous and manipulated the little boy into triggering Rob’s prison struggles. But when John boasted about it to Aaron, his new-husband didn’t give him the reaction he wanted.
And Emmerdale spoilers show that next week, Aaron heads to see Robert. And they finally admit their feelings are very much still there.
John manipulated Harry into annoying Robert
Victoria encouraged Robert to spend some time with Harry. Initially Rob was concerned that he may hate him because of Lee. But Vic reminded her brother that even if Lee was alive – he would not be in Harry’s life.
The pair head to the cafe, but Robert struggles to find something that Harry wants to do. However, Aaron spots them and sits to have a chat – leading to Robert inviting him to join their day.
Just as Aaron debated saying yes, John arrived and clearly got jealous. When alone with Harry, he told his nephew that Robert would enjoy it if he played his new drum really loudly.
But the loud noise just triggered Rob’s stress and he shouted at Harry – just as John arrived. Manipulating the situation, John tried to make the whole thing sound way worse than it was.
Then when he headed home, he told Aaron all about it. But Aaron wasn’t having anyone slander Robert and emphasised how much of a good dad to Seb he was.
Robert and Aaron reunite in Emmerdale spoilers
Next week, Emmerdale spoilers show Robert is in a pit of despair due to John’s manipulation. And Aaron is the one person who is able to get through to him.
He heads to see Robert and finds him smashing up his room. The pair chat and Robert breaks down in his ex’s arms.
Aaron can’t help but admit that he only pushed Robert away so much because of his own feelings. One thing leads to another and the pair share a passionate kiss. And ultimately the end up back in bed with each other.
While Emmerdale fans will be thrilled – one person who won’t be is John Sugden. And he happens to be outside the house about to check in on Robert. But does something else stop him before he gets in the door?
