As Aaron and Robert grow closer again, mysterious 'K' threatens everything next week
There is soon to be a new man in Robert's life
In Emmerdale tonight, Aaron and Robert spent some time together, but the mysterious ‘K’ is set to put the brakes on any Robron reunion.
Having just been released from prison for a crime he didn’t commit, Robert Sugden has been trying to find his feet in the village again.
Aaron’s mum Chas has tried to stop Robert spending time with her son, but those wishes were ignored tonight.
Robert came to Aaron’s rescue
Aaron Dingle was still struggling to process everything. As Nicola gossiped in the cafe and suggested John the “lunatic” must have had help getting away, Aaron lashed out.
“You saying it’s me? Why don’t you keep our trap shut?!” He yelled at Nicola before storming out.
Robert, who had been in the cafe, goes in search of Aaron and comes across him burning John’s stuff. He threw his wedding ring in the fire too before bursting into a fit of coughs.
Robert insisted on taking Aaron back to the pub, but Aaron stated he didn’t want that and claimed that “every room that I walk in someone looks at me like I’m a loser.”
Robert invites Aaron back to his, “just as mates.”
Aaron made a move on Robert
Aaron confided in Robert about John, telling him he thought watching John’s stuff burn would help him, but “you can’t burn memories, can you?”
He also apologised to Robert for pushing him away when he just tried to help. Robert responded by telling Aaron he still cared a lot for him.
Taking that as a sign, Aaron leaned in to kiss Robert. But Robert pushed him away, saying: “Not now, not like this.” Aaron was confused, claiming Robert has been chasing him since he got back.
Robert admitted he wants Aaron. But he said everything is raw right now and Aaron needs to process what has happened first. He also let slip that Chas had warned Robert off Aaron.
Aaron immediately went home to have it out with his mum and shouted at her for treating him like a 5-year-old.
‘K’ to get in the way of a RobRon reunion
As Aaron and Robert agreed to be friends for now while Aaron heals, Robert received a message from ‘K’ asking Robert to stop ignoring him.
With Robron close to a reunion, the mysterious K is set to delay things even more when he arrives in the village next week.
Spoilers for next week reveal that Robert is stunned when he opens the door to a familiar face. He lets the mystery man in and it soon becomes clear that they know each other from prison.
Victoria enters and is confused to see her brother holding hands with a man who isn’t Aaron. Robert is then left with some explaining to do.
