Bear attacks Paddy, but Emmerdale spoilers show things are set to get even darker as his condition deteriorates
Bear hasn't been himself recentlyIt’s clear Bear Wolf is suffering with some unknown condition in Emmerdale, and tonight he lost his temper at Paddy Kirk.
Over the last few weeks, Bear hasn’t been himself, and everyone has been a bit worried about him. However, he has played it down and refuses to accept that anything is actually wrong.
So, tonight (June 27), Paddy decided to test him for dementia after getting advice from Gabby. But things didn’t exactly go to plan. And it looks like they’re set to get even worse.
Bear lashed out at Paddy
While Mandy told Paddy that Bear wouldn’t be happy, Marlon agreed to help him test his dad.
The pair met up with Bear in the pub and slowly tried to ask him some questions from the dementia test. However, they made it quite obvious that something else was going on.
When Bear snatched the phone, he realised what they were doing and stormed off. But when he left the pub, he was clearly in a lot of pain, clutching his head. Robert spotted him, but Bear pretended he was fine.
By the time Paddy found him outside, Bear lost it at him and pushed him up against the wall. When Paddy told him he was hurting him, Bear warned that he hadn’t even started.
But later, when they were home, Bear acted like nothing really happened and Paddy was blowing it out of proportion. And when alone, Paddy admitted to Mandy he doesn’t know how much longer he can take it.
Bear Wolf’s condition gets worse in Emmerdale spoilers
In Emmerdale spoilers for next week, things look set to go from bad to worse for both Bear and Paddy.
When Paddy and Bear are out driving, the spot a sheep caught in a fence on newcomer Celia’s farm. And so Paddy rushes to help it.
While he is able to free the sheep, he freezes in terror as an aggressive dog approaches, belonging to Celia, and it clearly thinks he is trespassing.
The dog launches itself at Paddy, and Bear witnesses the attack and jumps out to help. He manages to overpower the dog but Paddy slumps to the ground and it’s clear he needs medical attention.
Paddy is rushed in for emergency surgery and is grateful for Bear’s help. But suddenly Bear erupts and uses the attack as an opportunity to say some horrible thing about his son leaving Mandy appalled.
Deeply shaken by what Bear had said, Paddy fears their relationship is beyond repair. But what exactly is going on with Bear? And will he and Paddy be able to make amends?
