As Bear lands Moira deeper in trouble, suspicion also falls on 'guilty' Paddy in Emmerdale
Paddy is about to put himself in the frameIt’s been a huge cover-up, but Bear has finally confessed to killing Ray, and soon, Paddy will find himself looking guilty to the police.
Over the last few weeks, Paddy has been keeping Bear hidden from the outside world, as he tried to get Bear to stay quiet on Ray’s death. But, once he realised it was wrong, and that Bear needed help, Paddy caved.
However, things immediately got worse for everyone, as Bear told his therapist that he killed Ray, and was brought to the station. And while Cain thought this could help Moira’s case, tonight’s episode proved otherwise.

Bear made Moira look more guilty
Tonight’s episode (February 16) unfortunately just put Moira in the frame even more. It kicked off with Bear in the station, being questioned about his confession.
At the station, Bear continued to insist that he acted alone in killing Ray. But as DS Walsh continued to amp up the pressure, he accidentally told her people were yelling, confirming what she already suspected – someone helped him.
While he kept telling her that Paddy and Dylan were nowhere near the house, he slipped up yet again and admitted that Cain had spoken to him.
By doing so, DS Walsh immediately wondered if Cain was trying to get Bear to prove Moira’s innocence because he knew she was responsible. And while Bear forcefully told her she was wrong, DS Walsh came to her own conclusion – Moira was the one to help Bear cover up the murder.
Whilst all of that was happening, Cain headed to see Moira, convinced that she is going to be in the clear.
Moira knew it was a long-shot, but with Bear having confessed, both of them had a renewed sense of hope that everything will be okay…

Suspicion turns to Paddy in Emmerdale spoilers
However, while Moira is still DS Walsh’s number one suspect for the case, attention soon turns to Paddy.
Later in the week, Emmerdale spoilers show Paddy is in the line of questioning. As it seems his attempts at sticking up for Bear leads to suspicion.
Spoilers tell us that Bear is once again questioned, causing him to become even more confused. But Paddy keeps interrupting, assuring everyone that Bear is telling the truth.
However, his constant chatter leads to Walsh suspecting he was actually more involved than he is saying.
As the interviews continue, Walsh makes it clear she knows Bear alone did not move the body. And Paddy is set to spiral further when he and Dylan are called to the station for questioning.
The week heartbreakingly ends with Bear charged with manslaughter, leaving a distraught Paddy hoping he has a good self-defence charge.
But the big question is – will Paddy and Dylan be found out? Or is Moira looking at even more charges?
