Emmerdale follow-up: Belle to expose John as she learns the 'truth' about Nate?
Belle's on the caseBelle Dingle returned from her visit to the Shetland Isles in Emmerdale tonight (Thursday, April 22), with news that threatens to expose John Sugden. Having taken it upon herself to track Nate down, Belle paid his employer in Scotland a visit… only to learn he never turned up for work.
This was a disappointing end to a successful day for John, who had managed to get Moira and Mack talking again. Feeling guilty over Mack’s recent unpopularity, John decided to play the hero again, facilitating a reconciliation. Bad news for Moira, though…

John manipulated Mack and Moira in Emmerdale tonight
This came as a guilt-ridden Mack reacted to his shame over the slurry leak by backing out of being Aaron’s best man. Determined to save the day, John snuck up to the farm. He then sabotaged the old trailer Moira had been working on, by removing two nuts.
Then, when it collapsed on her, he summoned Mack to the farm with a flimsy excuse. Mack arrived on the scene to find Moira trapped under the trailer.
Freeing his sister, Mack went from sub-zero to hero, and suddenly all (well, most) was forgiven. John, meanwhile, basked in the feeling of a job well done as brother and sister reconciled, and Mack agreed to take on best man duties again.

Belle returned with news about Nate
Unbeknownst to John, Belle was on her way back from Shetland.
She soon confirmed to Sam that Nate had never turned up for work, setting into motion a chain of events which may very well expose his killer. Is John’s secret about to be uncovered?

Belle to expose John in Emmerdale? Everything that happens next
In Emmerdale spoilers for tomorrow, Cain is shocked to learn that Nate never made it to Scotland. John is horrified to realise that Belle knows Nate is missing. Covering his tracks, he attempts to convince her not to call the police.
Believing John when he tells her that Nate doesn’t want to be found, Belle agrees not to file a missing person’s report. And, as the Dingles prepare for the next day’s wedding, she puts Nate to the back of her mind.
However, John has another fire to put out when he hears Moira tell Cain that the water company has to dredge the lake. All the time, Nate’s body is waiting to be found…
I’m A Celebrity South Africa 2026 sparks backlash as fans brand line-up ‘desperate’
The spin-off, also known as the All-Stars series, features past contestants of the regular show taking part once again. In 2023, Loose Women star Myleene Klass won the first version.
Unlike the Australian version, the spin-off in South Africa is pre-recorded and was reportedly filmed last September. That said, in a new twist, it was revealed that the winner will be voted for by the public, making the 2026 final the only episode to be live.
I'm A Celebrity South Africa 2026 line-up
Today (March 9), after months of speculation, the 2026 line-up for I'm A Celebrity South Africa was finally revealed.
Among the cast are two previous winners -- Scarlett Moffatt and Harry Redknapp, the latter of whom will arrive as a latecomer.
Ashley Roberts, Sinitta, Beverley Callard, David Haye, Sir Mo Farah, Seann Walsh, and Adam Thomas are also on the bill.
However, Gemma Collins and Craig Charles, who quit their series, are also latecomers with former footballer Jimmy Bullard.
Despite a whole range of familiar faces and clear fan favourites, ITV fans are not pleased with the line-up or with the news that the spin-off is making a comeback...
'ITV milking this for all it is worth'
"The barrel being well and truly scraped," one user wrote on Facebook.
"Will Gemma Collins last more than 20 minutes this time? I WILL NOT be watching ITV's barrel scrapings," another person shared.
"ITV milking this for all it is worth. Don't get the fascination with Harry, find him tedious at best," a third remarked.
"They have to be desperate," a fourth said.
"It's about time they came out with some decent programmes," a fifth expressed.
Meanwhile, a sixth insisted: "Maybe these famous people could wear name tags so we know who they are."
