As Aaron gives Robert some hope, Emmerdale fans predict another Robron affair
They first got together almost 11 years agoTonight’s episode of Emmerdale has left fans clinging to hope that a Robron reunion is just around the corner.
When Robert Sugden made his return to Emmerdale, he wasted no time in kissing Aaron and making it clear he wants him back. But he was too late, as Aaron decided to go through with his wedding to John.
But fans have been holding onto the belief that Robron are endgame – let’s face it we all believe they are. And tonight’s episode provided a little slither of hope, and fans are predicting an affair 2.0 may be pending.
Robert and Aaron cleared the air
Aaron was very angry with Robert in tonight’s episode after he attacked John. But John tried to make him see that Robert is unwell and needs help.
However, John is clearly still playing Robert as he continued to watch the video of Robert attacking him repeatedly (a bit obsessive, John). But Aaron eventually agreed to go easy on Robert.
Robert and Aaron bumped into each other in the shop and Robert gets Aaron a coffee so they could speak.
He took the opportunity to promise Aaron that something like that won’t happen again, and opened up to him about struggling since coming out of prison.
When Robert told Aaron he was thinking of leaving, Aaron tried to act like he wouldn’t be bothered if he did. But the pair shared a longing look and a laugh, which clearly had a lot more meaning behind it.
Aaron must have felt it too, as he quickly made his excuses and went to leave. But he couldn’t without telling Robert that his roots are in Emmerdale – and that people do care about him.
Robert was left with a flicker of hope that there is a future for Robron – and so were Emmerdale fans.
Fans predict Robron affair 2.0 in Emmerdale
Taking to X after watching the episode, many fans shared how they think this scene predicts the start of another Robron affair.
One wrote: “Aaron loves Robert and all of his lying ways. But he melts as soon as Robert starts being open and honest with him. It’s so obvious he loves him still.”
Another penned: “Aaron is clearly in love with him and the thought of that terrifies him. It’s the same story as before, affair era is so back.”
A third commented: “I am SCREAMING. Robert mentions he might leave and Aaron ain’t having any of that. He loves him so much.”
“Aaron and Robert affair coming soon after that scene” another penned.
Whether or not another affair is on the cards for Aaron and Robert remains to be seen. But we all want them back together.
