Vinny refuses to testify against Mike, but spoilers next week reveal his marriage is in crisis

Vinny decided not to give evidence against ‘Mike’ in Emmerdale tonight, but upcoming spoilers reveal problems for Vinny and Gabby’s marriage.
Kammy urged Vinny to tell Gabby Thomas the truth about Mike and the upcoming court case. But Vinny chickened out of it and instead declared he would no longer be testifying.
However, his marriage to Gabby is still at risk.
Vinny made a big decision
Vinny Dingle received a visit from the prosecution barrister in the case against Graham Connolly/Mike. She shared that the defence will be calling Gabby in as a witness.
Vinny later spoke to Kammy about the situation and said that if he pulls out of the case, they’ll have no reason to call Gabby and she won’t find out the truth. But Kammy encouraged Vinny to tell Gabby everything instead, adding: “We’re going to take that piece of work down.”
Before Vinny could speak to Gabby, she found Vinny’s court summons. When he walked through the door, she demanded to know what was going on. At first it appeared Vinny was going to tell the truth as he opened up about the forum and meeting Mike.
He told Gabby: “It was great at the start, it was like on the forum, you know, we just got each other straight away…. Things got messed up, it was weird. And then he just flipped out.” Gabby jumped to the conclusion that he’s the one who broke into the scrapyard and Vinny said yes, without sharing any details about his sexuality confusion.
Vinny spoke to Kammy again and shouted at his friend for pushing him to testify. Vinny then made a phone call confirming he is pulling out of the case.
Emmerdale spoilers reveal a marriage in crisis
Vinny changes his mind about testifying against Mike and comes up with a plan – he tells Mike that if he keeps Gabby out of it, he’ll testify and destroy the prosecution case. But really he’s planning on telling the truth in court.
When in court, Vinny clocks Gabby entering the public gallery just as he’s about to admit to first encountering Mike on a forum for people questioning their sexuality. Will Vinny be able to proceed?
Spoilers for next week reveal that Gabby opens up to Charles. Vinny is then taken aback when Gabby unexpectedly arrives with Charles in tow, to give them some counselling. Vinny begins to open up. When Charles highlights how much the pair clearly care about each other, the atmosphere lifts, and although cautious of the road ahead they are hopeful for the future.
But there is another bump in the road involving Lewis. Vinny and Lewis talk about Vinny’s situation. when Gabby walks in on them looking close. With Gabby also hiding a secret, will they really be able to carry on with all this doubt in the middle of their marriage?
