Has Emmerdale finally redeemed Chas? Let’s take a look at the evidence
Should we forgive and forget?
In Emmerdale, Chas was viewed as ‘irredeemable’ following her affair with Al Chapman, but she’s tried to put the past behind her…
Following a difficult battle with cancer, Chas has now found happiness in the arms of swoony Doctor Liam Cavanagh.
But, has Chas finally been redeemed? Or, is she still a long way off?

Chas’ reputation ruined by Al affair
In 2022, an affair started up in the Dales that will unfortunately forever be embedded into our minds.
Chas cheated on poor, lovely Paddy for businessman Al Chapman (and she was about the only person in the village who actually liked him other than Kerry…)
Despite having an affair with Chas, Al still went ahead and got engaged to Kerry although it would’ve been very awkward to reject such a fabulous (and very public) proposal. It involved Kerry presenting Al with a rap.
We weren’t a huge fan of Al to begin with but Chas was somewhat likeable until she betrayed Paddy like she did. And, let’s not get us started on Faith.
When Chas’ mum Faith was dying of cancer, Chas missed her final moments because she was in bed with her secret lover. How gross.
Everything came to an abrupt end though when Al was dramatically killed by little Kyle during a gun showdown. What goes around, comes around.

Chas’ cancer journey
After her affair with Al, Chas lost a lot of respect from fellow villagers and soap viewers alike. It looked as though her selfish ways were never going to be redeemed.
However, some sympathy for the character was given as she was diagnosed with cancer at the start of this year.
After a moment of passion with Dr Liam, he found a bump in Chas’ breast. She then found out that she had triple-negative breast cancer.
After a double mastectomy, Chas’ strength and resilience was to be admired. But, was this enough to redeem her?

Chas and Liam’s romance on Emmerdale
On screen at the moment, Chas is pretty loved up with Liam after they both confessed their love for each other this week.
She seems to be happy, and the rest of the village has come a long way since the Chas and Al affair.
However, even though Chas and Liam seem like a good pairing, let’s not forget that they are both sneaking about to hide the truth from heartbroken Ella. Just another relationship Chas has been in that’s going to end up hurting someone then. Nothing new there.

Celebrity Traitors winner ‘revealed’ – and it’s bad news for Alan Carr and Cat Burns
The hit BBC show, which is hosted by TV icon Claudia Winkleman, has been the talk of the town this past month and continues to leave viewers wanting more.
Currently, only five contestants remain in the game: Faithfuls Joe Marler, David Olusoga and Nick Mohammed with Traitors Alan Carr and Cat Burns. The final episode will air next Thursday (November 6).
Previously, singer Cat was tipped as the bookies favourite to win the show. However, in fresh new odds, exclusively given to our sister site Entertainment Daily, things have changed...

Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns replaced as favourite to win
According to SportsCasting, Ted Lasso actor Nick Mohammed is now a firm favourite to win the prize (5/4). Just behind him is former rugby player Joe Marler (6/4).
Cat sits in third place (5/2) while fellow Traitor Alan Carr has odds of 7.2. Meanwhile, there isn't a lot of faith in writer David Olusoga.
SportsCasting’s Shane Orton told ED!: "The Traitors grip on the game may finally be slipping as the competition reaches its decisive stage, with Nick Mohammed emerging as the frontrunner to take the win. His sharp instincts and composed approach have kept him off the Traitors' radar, even when he looked an obvious target for murder."
"Joe Marler has quietly voiced his suspicions about Cat Burns and Alan Carr to his fellow Faithfuls, though the Traitors remain in the dark. By staying close to them, Joe could be playing a clever tactical game in the hope of catching them off guard. With David Olusoga still in the mix and tensions reaching breaking point, the next episode could completely change the dynamic."

Alan Carr tipped to be the first banished
Despite playing a good game, it's not good news for Alan. The comedian, who has been playing as a Traitor from the beginning, is predicted to be the first banished (10/11).
Shane insisted that his "shaky response" to Claudia last episode confirmed "growing suspicions". He was asked to declare himself a Faithful and burst out into laughter. Shane believes that moment "sealed his fate".
David is also expected to be banished first, with odds of 2/1. He could be "in danger" if Alan and Cat "decide to vote in unison to protect themselves".
