Fans leaped to the star’s defence, branding her fellow all-star celebs “harsh” for their behaviour.

Last night saw the campmates forget to cook Gemma her dinner, leaving viewers stunned.
After Adam Thomas snuck chocolate back to camp, the campmates were given a smaller portion of food than usual for their dinner as punishment.
While dinner was cooking, Gemma went and did the washing up.
Back in camp, one of the campmates asked: “Where’s Gemma?”
“Oh, we’ve left Gemma!” Mo Farah gasped. However, the campmates quickly rectified their mistake and distributed some of the food out for Gemma.
“Imagine Gemma didn’t get food. She was so looking forward to it,” Mo said to camera after.

Gemma defended by fans
There was a moment of silence as Gemma looked down at what little food she had. “There isn’t a lot of food. It’s only 5 stars,” she was told.
Shrugging, Gemma replied: “I’m happy.”
“When I saw my plate I was like huh? It was that small. But it was so tasty that it made up for it,” she said.
Taking to social media after, fans hit out at Gemma’s campmates, branding them “cruel” for forgetting about her dinner.
“So while David is throwing his toys out the pram because Adam did something good they all forgot to feed @missgemcollins absolutely cruel & ridiculous,” one fan tweeted.
“Poor Gemma slaving away washing the dishes and they forget her portion. Harsh,” another said.
“Poor Gemma,” a third wrote. “Not them forgetting Gemma’s food,” another tweeted.

In a flash-forward for tonight’s episode, it was revealed that Gemma could be quitting the show!
Raising her arms above her head, Gemma can be seen saying: “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. I’m done.” She can then be seen crying, as Scarlett Moffatt watches on in shock.
