I’m A Celebrity South Africa viewers crown their winner as Scarlett Moffatt branded 'hilarious' after first episode

I’m A Celebrity fans have decided exactly who they want to win the South African version of the show, with Scarlett Moffatt becoming an early favourite.
Scarlett took on David Haye last night (April 6) in the Unlucky Lodges challenge, as the new all-stars series made its debut. And, although the boxer beat her in the challenge, she won over the viewers’ hearts with her one-liners and down-to-earth charm.
Scarlett Moffatt delights viewers with I’m A Celebrity debut
The former Gogglebox star won the show back in 2016. And, a decade later, she’s back.
She told hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly she was “10 years older and four stone heavier” than the first time around. Scarlett also declared that she’d been “bitten by a snake or a crocodile” because her bum was in its face.
And viewers instantly warmed for her, predicting that she’d retain her I’m A Celebrity crown.

“Scarlett is definitely going to win,” said one viewer, minutes into the show.
“So much love for Scarlett Moffatt. So unassuming, introducing herself to David. And mentions to Ant and Dec she’s four stone heavier and 10 years older than last time… Absolutely adore her, she’ll win it again,” said a second.
“Just crown Scarlett already,” said a third, as another added: “Scarlett to win.” “She was my winner from day one on her series,” another fan added.

“Scarlett all the way,” said another, branding her a “dark horse”. “Anyone else find Scarlett absolutely hilarious? Think she could go all the way and win it again,” declared another.

According to OLBG, Scarlett Moffatt is now favourite to win I’m A Celebrity South Africa. She’s 6/4 favourite to win the show.
A spokesperson said: “Scarlett Moffatt heads the betting at 6/4, with her previous win and strong connection with viewers making her the standout early favourite.”
How the I’m A Celebrity South Africa live final will work
The final will take place in London on Friday April 24. And, although the show is pre-recorded, the final will take place live.
As a result, viewers will be able to have their say and cast the final vote for their new IAC Legend.
It’ll air live on ITV1 and ITVX on April 24.
Speaking at the launch, host Declan Donnelly said: “Having a live final is an exciting addition to the new series with the viewers choosing their I’m A Celebrity Legend.”
