I’m A Celebrity South Africa fans spot cruel ITV 'blunder' as Seann Walsh eliminated: 'He deserved better'
He was the first celeb sent packing…
Seann Walsh became the first celebrity to leave I’m A Celebrity South Africa last night (April 16), with ITV blasted after not showing his best bits.
Lion King Harry Redknapp was forced to decide which of his tribe should be voted out of camp after they lost their trial.
Although many viewers wanted him to kick out David Haye, Harry opted to send Seann home.

Seann Walsh’s I’m A Celebrity exit interview
After leaving camp, comic Seann headed out of Main Camp to greet hosts Ant and Dec. There, he reflected on his time on the all-stars version of the show, in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it interview.
The trio sat by the edge of a lake, with Seann revealing he was gutted to be first out. He was then ushered into a speed boat as he made his exit from the show, with very little pomp and ceremony.
There were no fireworks, no loved ones there to greet him and there were no best bits. And, because of his damp squid of an exit, viewers were left feeling pretty sorry for “poor Seann”.

‘Poor Seann!’
One commented: “Seann didn’t really get an interview. It was like a five-second chat then off on the boat. He didn’t get a best bits clips! WTF?!”
Another spotted it too and commented: “Well that was a quick interview!! No favourite moments, poor Seann. He deserved better.”

However, ITV did end up showing Seann’s best bits… when he appeared on This Morning on Friday (April 17).

‘I was thrilled to see my family’
Speaking to ITV after the cameras stopped rolling, Seann said that being first out came with a “combination of emotions”.
“I was thrilled to be able to see my family because I missed my kids a lot. At the same time, I‘m sad they won’t see me in the jungle for longer or doing more trials,” he said.
Seann added: “The trials were harder and scarier. It felt like it was turned up to 11, so that just put more anxiety into the camp. The pleasure for me doing the jungle was the extraordinary people you get to live with. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that. It felt strange for me being in their presence, because they are almost historic figures in entertainment and sport. That doesn’t go over the top of my head.”
‘I preferred last time!’
Asked which version of I’m A Celebrity he preferred doing, Seann quipped: “I preferred coming fifth last time! Doing I’m A Celebrity the first time, my Mrs said to me: ‘You’ve got to do this, life’s an adventure. You’ll be able to tell the kids.’
“Most people don’t get to do that with their lives, it’s an extraordinary thing. So for it to come around a second time is unbelievable. I’ll cherish both my times in the jungle.”
