iPlayer early release airs explosive cliffhanger as someone is shot
A shot rings out
WARNING: This article contains spoilers for tonight’s episode of EastEnders, which is available for streaming on BBC iPlayer now, but has not yet aired on BBC One – in which someone is shot.
A shot rang out across Albert Square in EastEnders tonight (Tuesday, August 2), as a confrontation between Jack and Ravi ended with a gun being fired. Jack had attempted to take care of the gun for well-meaning (but foolish) Oscar, promising to dispose of it down the station.
However, neither was aware that Ravi had been listening in, and he snuck over to retrieve the weapon for himself.

Someone shot as Jack and Ravi confrontation ends in violence
Ravi’s plan struck a hitch when Denise returned home to retrieve a joke book for Howie. Spotting Ravi sneaking out of the house, she returned to The Vic where she told Jack what she’d witnessed.
Storming out of The Vic, Jack confronted Ravi, who refused to hand it over. When Jack followed Ravi into the park, a fight broke out, and both men fell to the ground. As they did so, the gun tumbled onto the grass.
As the men wrestled it out, Ravi reached for the gun. Jack attempted to grab it back and, as the fight continued, the gun went off. But who’s been hit? With a number of individuals missing from The Vic (not to mention Kat and Zoe arguing in the street), there’s quite a few people in the firing line… so to speak.

Terror at Patrick and Yolande’s wedding party in EastEnders spoilers

Things go from bad to worse when they learn who has been shot, leaving one life hanging in the balance.
But who’s been shot? And will they survive?
