Betsy and Jodie had an interesting interaction

Today’s episode of Coronation Street was centred around Jodie Ramsey (Tuesday, February 24), but her interaction with Betsy might’ve been a huge ‘clue.’

With Jodie one of the five potential murder victims from the flashforward, she’s just connected herself to Betsy for the first time.

But, was tonight’s scene more important than it appeared to be? Has Jodie’s fate just been ‘sealed?’

Jodie Ramsey’s trinket truth in Coronation Street

Jodie’s day with David the dog quickly turned messy when Lily forgot the poo bags. She left Jodie to improvise with one of Toyah’s hankies – glamorous stuff. Just as she recovered, she was blindsided by Olivia, a blast from her past who had recognised her while on a school trip.

Olivia questioned why Jodie had abandoned her and her sibling, especially when Jodie had previously said they were the best kids she’d ever looked after.

Put on the spot, Jodie spun a wild tale about leaving to protect Olivia, claiming she’d witnessed a murder and was now living a hush-hush life in witness protection. Olivia bought it but wondered why someone ‘in hiding’ owned a dog. Awkward.

After Jodie told Olivia not to come looking for her again, Betsy approached Jodie and David (still talking about the dog here), and introduced herself. Jodie really didn’t want to start a conversation with the teen, but Betsy filled her in on her thrifting adventures anyway.

Back home, after chippy tea debates with David, Jodie reached for her hidden trinket box. Alone, she added Bernie’s cut-out wedding photo to her box of trinkets. Also in the box was Brian’s missing book. They both appeared to be trophies from carefully plotted revenge. And judging by that growing collection, Jodie’s payback plans are only getting darker.

Huge ‘clue’ Jodie is at high risk of Coronation Street murder

Coronation Street fans will be well aware that Jodie is one of five potential murder victims. Her name appears on a list alongside Carl, Theo, Maggie, and Megan.

In a recent flashforward to April 23rd, Betsy was seen giving a statement to the police. She discovered a dead body and admitted that she knew the victim.

Up until now, despite living next to each other as neighbours, Jodie and Betsy haven’t really interacted. However, tonight’s scene now means that Betsy does indeed know Jodie. And, she seems to be keen to strike up a friendship with her.

Whether the pair interact again in the coming months remains a mystery. But, the small conversation could’ve just popped Jodie at the top of the list when it comes to being the April murder victim. But, is it all too obvious?
