Joe Tate's evil plan for Lydia Dingle exposed as Graham tries to put a stop to it

He’s stolen Caleb’s kidney, blackmailed the Sugdens and framed Moira for human trafficking but Joe Tate is now moving in on Lydia Dingle in Emmerdale and we are NOT happy about it.

He has a plan after discovering Lydia stands to inherit Home Farm. He’s going to stop it by any means necessary – with no regard for hurting innocent Lydia along the way.

Unless of course Graham can stop him…

Joe upset over Home Farm

Earlier this week Joe was fed-up of Graham trying to turn him against Kim. Determined to get Joe away from her though, Graham broke into Kim’s safe and got hold of her will. It revealed Lydia is inheriting Home Farm when Kim dies.

Despite Joe being generously provided for financially in the document, it’s the house he wants. Smarting over the whole thing, he took it out on Lydia. He shouted at her for being 10 minutes late and not having emptied the dishwasher quickly enough.

After a talking to from Graham it seemed Joe had a change of heart. He apologised to Lydia and even gave her a pay rise. Much to everyone’s surprise.

Joe Tate’s plan for Lydia revealed in Emmerdale

But of course this was just part of his new plan. A very nasty one indeed.

Tonight (Wednesday March 18) Joe walked in and overhead Lydia calling for an update on Paddy and Dylan.

He was horribly nice, offering her the day off. And Lydia was suspicious after the pay rise yesterday. Graham also suspected Joe was up to something, but Joe insisted he was being genuine.

“Pigs might fly and prices won’t go up. Of course you were,” Graham retorted, knowing Joe only too well.

Even Kim was growing suspicious. She later revealed she knew about the pay rise and wanted to know why Joe was behaving so oddly.

And it became clear to viewers later on when we heard Joe make a call. He opened a bank account. Innocent enough, perhaps – except he was opening it in the name of Lydia Dingle.

Fans immediately worked out Joe was “out to get Lydia”. But they don’t think it will work…

“Should anything happen to Kim, could Joe totally be setting Lydia up as the fall guy potentially? After all who else but her would actually really stand to benefit from Kim’s Will?” suggested one on social media.

Another said: “If EJT is opening that bank account in Lydia’s name to make it look like she’s embezzling money then he’s more stupid than I gave him credit for. Kim would never believe that. I mean…come on, Lydia.”

Graham steps in

Tomorrow night (Thursday March 19) Graham corners Joe and reveals he knows about his plan against Lydia. Joe is blindsided that Graham has found him out so easily.

However Graham isn’t happy about it. He has already told Joe to leave Lydia alone, so will he act to make sure he does? Or will Joe end up talking Graham round and getting him onside to help him out?

Is Lydia in real danger here? And when will Joe Tate finally get his comeuppance?!

Have they been living among us all along, or not?

Bradley Walsh: Out Of This World to investigate UFOs

Sky History has announced the news about Bradley's new Out Of This World series on its website. It comes after the success of his previous documentary with the channel, Egypt's Cosmic Code.

It states the series "asks if we are really alone in the universe". Sky History adds: "Bradley follows the evidence through our skies and beneath our seas as he looks for answers to the most unanswerable questions."

Bradley, who hosts The Chase and Gladiators to name a few, is swapping the comfort of a TV studio for an around the globe trip. Places on his hit list include Sweden and Arizona in the US.

He will be speaking to people who claim to have seen aliens and examining unexplained phenomenons including crop circles. Bradley will even try to find the Lost City of Atlantas.

The star will also be handed secure government files in both the UK and the US. The contents contain baffling information about unexplained 'UFO sightings' and he will met with military insiders about them.

A source has told The Sun: "Bradley holds a deep fascination with extraterrestrial theories, particularly concerning ancient history and engineering, so he is the perfect person to front this series.

“He goes wherever the evidence takes him, whether that’s secret military files, eyewitness testimony, underwater anomalies or ancient mysteries."

When does Bradley Walsh: Out Of This World start?

Sky History has confirmed that Bradley's new series will air later in 2026. Filming is already underway for the show, so expect it to be on-screen towards the end of the year.

We can't wait to see what Bradley discovers. This could be fascinating and terrifying in equal measures!
