John is back, Marlon is worried and Jacob's miserable

Elsewhere, Marlon is feeling uneasy. But will his year-long torment finally be over? Or are things about to get worse?
With Celia’s evil empire beginning to fall apart, will she escape the village before things get too tricky for her?
And Jacob’s not happy!
It definitely wasn’t the peaceful Christmas the residents of Emmerdale were hoping for, but will Boxing Day bring a bit of rest and relaxation?
Erm, nope.
Here’s what Emmerdale spoilers for Boxing Day have to tell us about the aftermath of the festivities in the village.
1. What is John planning?
Shocks occurred on Christmas Day when John Sugden came back to Emmerdale. But what is his big plan? He wants Aaron back – but how will he go about it?
We know he will be around for the Corriedale episode later this year, so chances are this is only just beginnging. Are Aaron and Robert safe?
2. More trouble for Marlon
It may be be a year since April first went missing, but Marlon’s troubles show no sign of going away. or do they?
As Boxing Day dawns, he’s relieved that Ray seems to have eased off on his campaign against their family. Marlon’s got no idea, though, what’s going on with Ray and Celia as they plan their escape from the village. And Ray dreams of a normal family life with Laurel and her kids.
Though he’s pleased that Ray seems to have turned his attention elsewhere, poor Marlon still can’t relax! He’s worried Ray and his evil mum are actually just plotting some more torment for him.
Of course, we know he’s right.
After all, Celia and Ray are planning to leave the village and they won’t go quietly…
3. April’s got a decision to make
Little does Marlon know that while Ray and Celia are making their escape from Emmerdale, they’ve got one last trick up their sleeves to ruin his life.
They want to take April with them.
So the teenager is left facing a brutal choice as Boxing Day arrives. Will she leave Emmerdale with her tormentors and know her life will never be the same? But then again, if she goes along with Celia’s nasty plan, she’ll also know she’s saved her parents and siblings from more harassment and financial ruin at the hands of the evil mother and son.
April has decided to go, but how will she break the news to Marlon?
4. Jacob’s not happy
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the village, Jacob’s not feeling festive. After everything that’s happened over the last couple of days, he’s more of a Grinch than a blissfully happy groom.
But does Jacob know more than he’s letting on about his future with Sarah – and their unborn baby?
Or are the troubles weighing him down coming from another family member entirely? *stares at Pollard*
