MAFS Australia's Stella shocks fans by begging Fillip to have a vasectomy just weeks after meeting him but she's standing by her wild request
Stella has left everyone confusedMAFS Australia bride Stella has left everyone shocked by revealing she wants her husband Fillip to have a vasectomy, mere weeks after meeting. And since leaving the show, it seems her thoughts haven’t changed at all.
Stella and Fillip were really quick to actually hit it off together, and hitting the halfway mark, they have already confessed their love for each other. Despite Stella having a little blip, the pair seemed to be stronger than ever.
However, an entirely new issue was brought up during the Commitment Ceremony tonight (April 20) as Fillip’s baby fears were revealed. And Stella’s standing by her shocking way to fix it.

Stella begged Fillip to have a vasectomy on MAFS Australia
Taking to the sofa to chat to the experts, everyone thought things between Stella and Fillip were more than alright. But when they sat down, Stella shocked everyone by saying their sex-life has plummeted, because Fillip’s afraid to accidentally get her pregnant.
The pair didn’t seem to agree on many different things, with Fillip admitting she told him he wasn’t being “masculine”. Stella opened up that she was pushing him away, but that it’s not how she really feels.
Stella told the experts: “I’m not on any birth control, and he’s terrified of an accident to happen. I personally don’t want to take tablets. I told him, ‘Hey, if you’re so terrified of making someone pregnant, maybe just do a snip.'”
Everyone in the room was left jaw-dropped, with the late Mel Schilling commenting: “Has anyone ever heard of condoms?”
But Stella explained she didn’t like the using them, but expert Alessandra Rampolla wanted Stella to see what she was asking him.

She told her: “It’s very early to be making these decisions, especially if you want kids in the future. It’s reversible of course, but it’s still a procedure. There are other alternatives. But this shouldn’t be a factor to bring you guys apart.”

What has she said about the comments since the show?
While they didn’t ultimately agree on what form of birth control they would be using in the future, Stella has explained she still feels the same way following MAFS Australia.
In an interview with Daily Mail Australia, Stella made it clear she had no intention of using hormonal contraception.
She explained: “I am never going back on birth control as it affects hormones for women. As I am well versed in the area of going through miscarriage, birth control and hormones affecting the body, the easiest solution was vasectomy.
“It’s 15 minutes. It’s safe, and it’s reversible. And you can always access sperm when you need it.”
Fillip also spoke to the outlet, and admitted that it threw him at first but ultimately it made him look at the broader image of birth control.
He admitted: “I never considered to get the snip for anyone. I had never been offered a solution like that before.
“It brings up a solid discussion though as to why the expectation that women will always be the ones taking one for the team, as you can do it as a man as well.”

Fans were left shocked by the comments
However, everyone in the room weren’t the only ones left absolutely stunned by Stella’s comments. Fans of the show took to Reddit to discuss how they were unimpressed by the entire thing after watching Down Under.
One penned: “Anyone else disappointed by Stella? I thought she was different but she’s terrible. She expects way too much from her man.”
Another agreed: “I’m perplexed by someone who doesn’t take the pill and refuses to engage with any condoms. Expecting a partner to get a vasectomy is an extreme measure for a relationship.”
“She was so flippant in the way she said it too. It was so entitled and belittling, like her body mattered more. You don’t have to take the pill if you don’t want to, but nobody needs to get an invasive medical procedure either – especially someone you have known for less than a month” a third added.
Another commented: “I thought it was a bit much of her to expect Fillip to undergo a vasectomy. Plus questioning his masculinity because he didn’t want to go out one night. Her mask is starting to slip.”
