MAFS Australia‘s Bec Zacharia used to live in the UK and had a fairly mundane office job, TVGuide can reveal.

Bec, who has just got married to British husband Danny Hewitt in the E4 show, spent several years living in London.

She moved across the world in 2015 when she was 25 years old before setting up home in Fulham.

Before leaving Australia, Bec wrote on Instagram: “Adelaide, the past 25 years have been real… London, I’m coming for you…..!”

Bec now works as an account manager. But while living in London, she dabbled in another career.

Pictures of Bec have now emerged during her time here and she looks really different to how she does on MAFS Australia.

She even met David Beckham while out shopping one day!

MAFS Australia: Bec’s London life

Judging by Bec’s Instagram account, she couldn’t wait to get stuck into English traditions when she arrived. It appears her male cousin lives in the UK and took her straight for an afternoon tea.

Bec appears in an office snap on KFH’s LinkedIn profile. With long brunette hair, she looks completely different as she stands next to her colleagues.

It transpires she had taken part in a charity event on behalf of the company. The caption reads: “Last week, Rebecca Zacharia, Senior Lettings Negotiator at our Muswell Hill office, sat on the panel of our charity partners London Youth’s City Leaders pitch event.”

Bec is also quoted, saying: “Sitting on the panel for the London Youth City Leaders evening was truly inspiring. Youth Club Archive and Sapphire Community both presented extremely important and different ideas of how to help their communities.

“London Youth are doing a phenomenal job supporting youths, giving them a voice and motivation to work hard and be involved in their community. It made me feel so proud to work at Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward and see what a difference our fundraising is making.”

Eventually, Bec decided home was calling. In December 2021, she moved back home to Adelaide.

MAFS Australia: Bec and Danny

Bec was seen marrying Danny – who is from London – this week as the 2026 series of MAFS Australia gets underway. Could the experts have matched them because of the London link?

At first, they appeared well suited. In fact, Bec even admitted they had been “intimate” on their wedding night. But things have already turned sour.

Bec and Danny have had a huge bust up during their honeymoon in. Fiji. It came after Bec asked her new husband if he finds her sexually attractive. Despite their wedding night antics, he said no.

Bec went on to accuse Danny of staring at another woman “all day”. She’s since revealed that he was ogling a bikini-clad photographer at the hotel next door.

Will they last the distance? The early signs aren’t looking great.
