Megan was arrested and there's more devastation for the Driscolls as another secret is exposed

The hunt is on for proof of Megan's crimes

In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Wednesday, March 18), Megan was arrested at school as her lies began to fall apart.

The Driscolls rallied round Will – who was very resistant to having support and refused to discuss anything with his dad or his gran.

But with the whole murky business threatening to be completely exposed, the Driscolls have got a lot to come to terms with.

Eva told Ben the truth in Coronation Street

Eva bit the bullet and told Ben exactly what she’d found out. Of course, at first, Ben was disbelieving. He didn’t want to think about what it meant for their family.

But he realised that though there was no concrete proof, Eva was certain Sam was telling the truth. And he understood that this awful revelation was real.

But Will wouldn’t tell anyone anything

With the news weighing heavily on the devoted dad, he tracked Will down at the precinct. Will was eating strawberry bootlaces, on the swing – something Ben obviously found horribly at odds with what he had found out.

But though the dad reassured his son there was nothing to worry about, Will wouldn’t tell him the truth. He lied that there was nothing going on with him and Megan.

The police got involved

Later, Will, Eva, Toyah and Leanne headed to the police station, where they told Kit everything they knew.

Kit immediately took it very seriously.

Meanwhile, Will had tipped Megan off and she told him to pack a bag, and get ready to flee. Oblivious to what was happening, Daniel was trying to pin Megan down and get her to agree to drinks.

She lied that she was busy with admin, and later Daniel caught her rushing out of school. Once more she lied, wanting to get away. But it was too late. The police were there and they arrested her, as a fuming Daniel told them they were wrong.

Oh Daniel. You’re in for a nasty shock, mate!

Things are about to get even worse for everyone in Coronation Street

In tomorrow’s episode things are going to get even more tricky for the devastated Driscolls as they hunt for anything that will prove Megan has been grooming Will.

And then they’re horrified all over again as a shocking discovery rocks their world once more.

George Clarke profile: From social media star to Strictly favourite

George Clarke isn’t a household name yet, but the YouTuber hopes that his fans will be following him all the way to the Strictly final.

With millions of fans online, the podcaster is now among the favourites to take home the glitterball trophy. But who is George Clarke?

Here is everything you need to know about the influencer ahead of his BBC debut.

What is George Clarke famous for?

George Clarke was born on December 3rd 1999, and is one of this series' youngest contestants – at just 25 years old. He is just two years older than fellow Strictly star and activist, Ellie Goldstein.

Growing up in Bristol with his older sister Emily, the podcaster had a very different career planned and initially studied Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Exeter.

However, his life was changed forever when he began posting gaming and reaction videos on TikTok and YouTube. His hobby has now become a full-time career, with George working with YouTube mega-stars such as the Sidemen.

How many followers does George Clarke have?

George’s big break came in 2019, when he began posting on TikTok, under the name @georgeclarkeey. As he shared his love of gaming and hilarious reaction videos, he quickly gained an impressive following.

Since then, the content creator has over 2.3 million followers on the app.

This isn’t the only place where George has found a following, though, as his YouTube channel has a staggering 48 million views to date. Posting under the name @georgeclarkey, the influencer has over 614,000 subscribers who regularly watch his reaction videos – including a recent clip of him laughing at Strictly fails. (Hopefully, that doesn't come back to haunt him.)

George is also co-host of The Useless Hotline Podcast, which began in 2022. The tongue-in-cheek pod sees him and fellow influencer Max Balegde answer listeners’ dilemmas, no matter how small or weird.

With guest stars including Katherine Ryan and Jojo Siwa, the podcast is hilarious, and we will be binging every episode before Strictly starts.

How did George Clarke meet the Sidemen?

With millions watching his videos, it is no surprise that George caught the eye of other influencers as well.

Surprisingly, though, it was a face-to-face meeting that finally brought George and the Sidemen together. The 25-year-old was selected to play in Sidemen’s 2025 charity football alongside founder members KSI and  Miniminter.

Playing in front of 90,000 fans at the iconic Wembley Stadium, it seems that the YouTuber was just as impressive in person, and his team lost by a single penalty. Following the match, George was later invited to join the Sidemen.

It is clear that the influencer has a sporty side, and this should be an advantage on the dance floor. Unsurprisingly, betting site Oddschecker are already anticipating that George will do well on Strictly – with 9/1 odds that he will win the series.

Is George Clarke related to architect George Clarke?

Having spotted a George Clarke among this year’s Strictly stars, fans would be forgiven for wondering whether he was related to the presenter. Many even questioned whether the duo were father and son.

Sadly, the influencer only shares his name with The Restoration Man and Amazing Spaces presenter.

The 25-year-old does have a surprising connection to one of the UK’s most beloved film franchises.

George’s dad is Sean Clarke, who is the current managing director of Aardman Animations – the studio behind Wallace and Gromit. The influencer’s dad has been with the firm since 1998 and oversees Aardman’s most iconic characters, including Shaun the Sheep.

This has undoubtedly influenced George, who even named his pet mouse Gromit after the studio’s debut character.

However, this isn't George’s only claim to fame.

Who is George Clarke dating?

In a recent episode of The Useless Podcast, George finally went public with his girlfriend Yasmin Amelia.

It seems Yasmin has also built a name for herself in the entertainment industry, as she has over 35,000 followers on Instagram. In addition to this, the influencer is also represented by J'adore Models.

Despite both being in the public eye, little is known about their relationship.

Though George has previously dodged questions about his love life, the 25-year-old said he wanted to stop any speculation

He told fans: "That's part of the reason why we wanted to say something. Because the two options were to say something. You have full control over how it comes out."

"Whatever you say is basically how people find out, or it stays private. [It] just sort of takes all the control out of your hands. But then, I [will] just go on stream after that and be like, that's not true, by the way. But, yeah, she's my girlfriend."

The YouTuber went on to confirm that he’d been in a relationship for a little over a month. Don’t expect videos of the loved-up couple on social media, though, as George prefers to keep his relationship private.

He stated: "I've always said I don't want it to be, if I did have a relationship, I wouldn't want it to be a public thing. But I feel like it's just a nicer feeling to have it be known and be private. As opposed to it being a complete secret."

After learning more about his partner, Strictly fans are now wondering who George will be paired with on the dancefloor.

Who is George Clark dancing with in Strictly Come Dancing?

With George in line for the glitterball trophy, many fans are curious about who he will be paired with.

While the BBC has yet to make an announcement, it is thought that the YouTuber may waltz away with one of Strictly’s newest professionals: Alexis Warr.

The US dancer rose to fame after winning So You Think You Can Dance in 2022 and has also appeared on the US Dancing with the Stars.

Further fuel was added to the rumour, as her name appeared along with George’s after a reported leak about this year's couples.

Though has been circulated on the Strictly Spoiler website, the BBC have yet to give a comment about this year's couples.

We will just have to wait until Strictly Come Dancing starts to find out.
